Our Vintage Breaks beatsmiths ratchet up the tempo and return with a blistering selection of live breakbeats built for everything from big-room breaks and liquid D&B to old school jungle, hardcore and rave.
Whilst previous Vintage Breaks editions have been a popular goldmine of authentic-sounding breakbeat material to pitch up, cut up and mangle into D&B beats, this 4th volume focusses solely on the 150-178pbm range.
Some beats were recorded at a lower speed then pitched up in classic jungle style, others were played live at D&B speed for the organic live drum sound associated with the seminal Hospital and London Elektricity sound.
As always, all beats were recorded on 100% vintage equipment using 100% vintage recording techniques and processed 100% through analogue hardware for an authentic raw sound.
The breaks have deliberately NOT been cut up and re-triggered to make new, tighter and more complex patterns within a sampler, though we fully expect producers to do this with them. We are providing you the raw sample material - how you cut and re-work them is at your own musical discretion.
All loops are tempo-labeled for total production ease.
